IAIA and GST Partner to Strengthen Impact Assessment Capacity in Saudi Arabia
IAIA is pleased to announce a new strategic partnership with Green Sustainability for Training (GST), the specialist workforce development and academic arm of GSCES Group, to expand professional development and strengthen impact assessment capacity in Saudi Arabia.
The partnership brings together IAIA’s international expertise, professional network, and good-practice resources with GST’s local knowledge, training capabilities, and understanding of the Saudi regulatory and professional environment.
The first joint training activities are expected to begin in September 2026, with an initial intensive program for environmental and impact assessment professionals in Saudi Arabia.
Through this partnership, IAIA and GST will explore opportunities to:
- Develop and deliver specialist impact assessment training for environmental professionals, engineers, policymakers, and sustainability practitioners.
- Combine international good practice with knowledge of Saudi legislation, regulation, and professional requirements.
- Develop selected co-branded professional development programs relevant to practitioners in the Kingdom.
- Explore digital and Arabic-language learning opportunities to broaden access to specialist knowledge.
- Connect Saudi practitioners with the wider international impact assessment community for knowledge and experience exchange.
