Webinar Details

The International Association for Impact Assessment (IAIA) offers many ways for impact assessment professionals to learn, contribute, and lead throughout the year. Through IAIA, you can bring your local and specialist expertise to global conversations that inform best practices and strengthen field-tested learning. Whether you are already active in IAIA, involved with an IAIA affiliate, or simply want to learn more about the international impact assessment (IA) community, this webinar will provide an overview of opportunities to engage with IAIA beyond the annual conference.

Participants will learn about IAIA’s global network of professionals as well as its publications, committees, training, topical sections, online community, and volunteer leadership roles. Attendees will hear examples of current section activities and learn how IAIA and its affiliates play complementary roles in supporting IA professionals at local, regional, and international levels. The session will also highlight practical ways to share knowledge and expertise through conference presentations, webinars, blog posts, journal contributions, and other activities that help advance the practice of IA worldwide.

Facilitated by members of IAIA’s executive team, this interactive session will include several breaks for questions. Whether you are looking to expand your professional network, contribute to the advancement of IA practice, develop leadership experience, or simply better understand what IAIA offers, this webinar will help you identify opportunities that align with your interests and goals.
