Impact Assessment and Project Appraisal, an international refereed journal with six issues per year, is the official publication of IAIA. IAPA contains a variety of peer-reviewed research articles, professional practice ideas, and book reviews of recently published titles. IAPA is published by Taylor and Francis (UK). 

IAIA members receive free IAPA access. Just login as a member on the IAIA website first so the publisher’s site recognizes you. Step-by-step instructions are below.

All articles are made open access (available to the public) after two years.

How to view articles as an IAIA member
  1. Login to the IAIA system as a member.
  2. From the “Members-Only Content” menu, select “IAPA Journal.”
  3. Click the green “Visit IAPA Site” button.
  4. You will be taken to the publisher’s website, which will automatically recognize you as a member (green check marks will appear next to each article).
  5. Click on the article in which you are interested — each article is then available as a PDF download or for online full text viewing.

How to submit an article for inclusion in IAPA

Impact Assessment and Project Appraisal accepts the following types of articles: full research articles, professional practice papers, letters, and book reviews.

All submissions are assessed for suitability by the editor. They are then double blind peer reviewed by independent, anonymous experts. Start by exploring this information for authors
