IAIA committees are crucial to the credibility, success, and progress of the organization, and each has its own mandate. They comprise groups of volunteer members approved by the Board.

Awards Committee

Identifies and recommends outstanding individuals and institutions for IAIA’s annual awards.

Training & Professional Development Committee

Advances impact assessment expertise by supporting and guiding IAIA's training initiatives and professional networking.

Journal Management Committee

Oversees the performance of IAIA’s IAPA journal, ensuring its quality, integrity, and sustainability by managing the editor-publisher relationship and making strategic recommendations.

Technical Program Committee

Develops the theme and oversees the content of IAIA’s annual conference, ensuring a well-structured program by selecting sessions, overseeing abstract reviews, coordinating with session chairs, and finalizing the schedule.

Finance Committee

Oversees IAIA’s financial planning, budget, and funding strategies to ensure financial stability and support the organization's strategic goals.

Conferences Committee

Reviews and recommends conference proposals, provides guidance on themes and innovation, and ensures continuity and quality in IAIA’s annual conferences.

Board Nominations Committee

Oversees the nomination and election process for IAIA’s Board of Directors, ensuring equitable representation and adherence to bylaws and best practices.

Sections Coordinating Committee

Brings together Section Chairs to ensure IAIA’s special interest areas are well-represented in conferences, activities, and organizational decisions.

Oversees IAIA’s day-to-day operations, finances, and governance, ensuring organizational effectiveness and compliance.

Director of Publications & technical program

Coordinates the development of IAIA’s professional publications and manages the technical program for IAIA’s annual conferences and symposia.

Director of membership & digital strategy

Manages member engagement, retention, and recruitment, while overseeing digital platforms and integrations to enhance the user experience.

Training Program Specialist

Leads the development of IAIA’s professional training program, managing course offerings, instructor coordination, and delivery of virtual and in-person learning opportunities.

Events & Projects Specialist

Manages logistics and stakeholder engagement in support of IAIA conferences and symposia, and coordinates the implementation of grant-funded projects.

Manages registration processes and financial support services, including invoicing, payments, and accounting.
