Description
This workshop explores the wide range of social, environmental and economic impacts, both beneficial and disadvantageous, which tourism may have on developing countries. The target audience includes: local, regional and national planners with an interest in or jurisdiction for tourism planning; NGOs and academics. Participants are encouraged to bring along case-studies and examples to discuss. The format will involve informal presentations, discussions, group work and case studies. This course is available on request and location determined by arrangement.
