International Association for Impact Assessment

Information for Contributors

Content

The IAIA Wiki is intended to be an "encyclopedia" of impact assessment topics and issues. Therefore, content should reflect a neutral point of view. Sometimes this will require offering multiple points of view, presenting each accurately, and not putting one view forward as "the truth" or "the best." Content should also be verifiable, with citations to reliable resources. The IAIA Wiki is not the appropriate place for opinions, personal experiences, or original research.

Editing a Page

You can edit an entire page or part of a page's content by clicking the "Edit" link. If you would like to edit a single part of a page, click the "Edit" near the title of the content piece. If you would like to add a heading and content, click the "Edit This Page" link at the top of the page.

Internal Consistency

An overriding principle is that style and formatting should be consistent within an IAIA Wiki article, though not necessarily throughout the IAIA Wiki as a whole. Being consistent within an article promotes clarity and cohesion.

Page Discussions

Click the "Discuss" link near the top of the page to post a message or start a discussion regarding a page or its contents.

Page History

Each edit to a page is archived and viewable by clicking the "History" link toward the top of the page. You are able to view who made changes, what changes were made and when the change was made.
