On 19 April 2015, IAIA hosted a special workshop in Florence, Italy, to provide a platform for experts in climate change and impact assessment to review the European Investment Bank's (EIB) approach to supporting climate action (i.e., mitigation and adaptation).
On 22 January 2015, IAIA convened an expert focus group in London to discuss the World Bank's draft document Environmental and Social Framework: Setting Standards for Sustainable Development. Local IAIA members were able to meet directly with the World Bank staff that are leading the review and provide their input on several aspects of the Framework.
