Special event updates:  Registration is now closed for the banquet, as it is at maximum capacity. No refunds will be issued for cancelations on-site. Limited space is still available in the following technical visits and training courses. Be sure to register by 18 April if you want to attend!

Course #6: Quality Assurance in EIA (9-10 May)

Mentors needed:  The mentoring program helps students, early professionals, and first-time delegates feel more comfortable and less overwhelmed with their IAIA conference experience. The Mentor acts as a discussion partner on common topics of interest for the professional development of the mentee and as a friendly point of contact for guidance and navigation through IAIA (i.e., members, Sections, conference format). If you would be willing to serve as a mentor, please contact Loreley as soon as possible.

Join us for bag stuffing:  IAIA HQ and local volunteers will be stuffing the delegate bags at the Nagoya Congress Center on Sunday, 8 May, from approximately 1:00-4:00pm.  If you are in Nagoya and would be willing to help, please join us at the venue for an hour or two. You can then stick around to pick up your own registration materials – the registration desk opens at 4:00pm that day.

    2.  Water Symposium updates

The IAIA Special Symposium on Water and Impact Assessment will be held 31 August-2 September 2016 in Lincoln, United Kingdom.  For more information, visit the symposium website. Tag #iaiawater whenever you share information about this event on social media!

Registration open: Registration for the symposium is now open. Preliminary program information, such as session descriptions, technical visit options, banquet details, and more, has also been posted.

Paper/poster abstracts invited: The online submission form for symposium abstracts is now available. Please review the guidelines and policies and then submit your abstract by 31 May 2016.
