Ready to submit your paper? Use this checklist to find out
By the time you are ready to submit your paper to a journal, there are a lot of things you’ll need to have checked, understood, and incorporated into your article. Taylor & Francis, publisher of IAIA’s journal, Impact Assessment and Project Appraisal, has created this checklist to help you make sure that you don’t miss anything important, both in writing and preparing your paper, and when you’re using a submission system. This can speed up the submission process and avoid potential obstacles in receiving a decision from the journal editor(s).

Designing a circular fashion system that works for all
The fashion industry is transforming from linear to more circular business models—including repair, recycling, resale and rental—while simultaneously being shaped by macro forces, such as automation and climate disruption. Marginalized and disenfranchised groups are overrepresented in value chain segments likely to expand in a more circular system, and there is a strong risk of perpetuating existing labor issues in circular roles.

In the Caribbean, everyday people are helping nature make a comeback
Humans have altered 75 percent of the Earth's surface. One-third of the world’s farmland is degraded, and one-third of commercial fish species are overexploited. Degradation is already affecting the well-being of an estimated 3.2 billion people, or 40 percent of the world’s population. Experts say while large, government-backed projects can help reverse that destruction, small-scale efforts by local people also have an important role to play.

Photo story: What happens when isolation goes beyond a pandemic
Brazilian photographer Raphael Alves has been covering the COVID-19 pandemic in his home state of Amazonas since their first lockdown in March 2020. Through his photography, Alves highlights how the lockdown intensified some of the socioeconomic inequality of the largest state in Brazil.

You made it through 2021. We still witnessed plenty of ups and downs this year, but while we were holding onto this rollercoaster we call life, lots of really positive things happened for the environment.
