IAIA Project Online Survey – The State of Digital IA Practice Dear IAIA Member:
The impact assessment profession (EIA, ESIA, HIA, SEA, etc.) is always developing, but recent years have seen an increasing influx of new technologies and digital approaches. FothergillTC, supported by an innovation grant from IAIA, is conducting an online survey to take stock of what the increasing use of digital approaches means for IA.
By completing the short online survey, you can help to identify what the profession feels about the uptake of digital technologies and approaches in IA practice - including drones, web-based EIS, online engagement, cloud-based data collection, and more. This will help us all understand what works and what does not in different roles and contexts.
Your participation in this short 5-10 minute survey will be used to help shape the forthcoming report on The State of Digital IA Practice. The report is the core output of a project led by Fothergill Training & Consulting Ltd (www.fothergilltc.com), and is supported by one of the IAIA's 2020/21 Innovation Grants. The project report is scheduled to launch in an IAIA webinar on Digital IA Practice in the second half of 2021.
The survey will be open throughout April, but we encourage you to engage with it now to help identify the state of digital IA practice in your part of the world.
Many thanks in anticipation, IAIA and the FothergillTC Project Team
