2020 Annual General Meeting (AGM) announced

The AGM is the annual business meeting of the Association. All members are encouraged to participate.

As determined by the Board of Directors, this year’s meeting will be held electronically on 15 June 2020 at 13:00 GMT and will feature a vote on updates to IAIA’s bylaws. Check out the bylaws amendments and other meeting materials in the Members Only section of the website. A members-only webinar will be held prior to the AGM to explain the bylaws changes.

Information on how to access the virtual AGM will be provided directly to members as the event approaches.

Make sure to renew your membership or join us for the first time to participate in this year's AGM and gain access to everything IAIA has to offer.

“IAIA is IAIA through its members”

Past President Alex Weaver made this statement many years ago, and it is as true now as it was then. Next week is Volunteer Appreciation Week in the USA (19-25 April), and although our volunteers are dispersed around the world, we want to take this opportunity to extend our thanks for their contributions of time, talent, and expertise which make IAIA a vibrant and active community.

    IAIA staff working remotely

IAIA staff continue to work remotely to provide uninterrupted member service to the greatest extent possible. Please email if you need to reach us, as we are not in the office to take phone calls.

Visible, positive impacts are but temporary, whether through improved air quality or reduced greenhouse gas emissions, because they come on the back of tragic economic slowdown and human distress.

    How to change the world

As Earth Day is observed again this April and as plans are being put in place to move forward, you’re invited to draw inspiration from people and projects already working to make the world a better place.
